Dr. Amanda D. Crum
Dr. Amanda D. Crum, optometric physician, was born and raised in Hoxie, Arkansas. she graduated from Hoxie High School as Valedictorian in 2002.
Dr. Crum always knew she wanted to go into the medical field. She took advantage of many opportunities to observe different medical professions first-hand in high school and in college.
This included a mentorship at the local emergency room and a two-week summer program called MASH that allowed her to interact with the medical staff and patients at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Personal:
Dr. Crum’s favorite pastimes include spending time with her husband, chiropractor Dr. Parker Crum and her two children, Olivia and Parker.
They enjoy playing board games, traveling and enjoy outdoor activities, especially hiking. Their children are very active in many sports
which keeps both parents very busy as fans and coaches. They are also very involved in their children’s school and school board as well
as being very active members of and volunteers for, First Baptist Church in Searcy. Family is very important to Dr. Crum so her family travels
frequently to Northeast Arkansas to visit family.
Dr. Kim R. Mitchell
Optometric physician, Dr. Kim R. Mitchell, was raised in and graduated High school in Carlisle. Dr. Mitchell has been in private practice and has spent most of the last 14 years working in an ophthalmological clinic in Russellville. Dr. Mitchell’s husband, Kevin, and she are looking forward to moving to Cabot and being back home in Lonoke County.

Personal:
Dr. Mitchell is married to Kevin Mitchell. She has a son, Will, is the manager of media relations with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Her second son, Ben, passed away from Neurodegeneration with Brain Iron Accumulation at the age of 12 in 2007.
She started the Conway Braves baseball team for special needs children. Currently Kim serves on the board of the Faulkner County Day School which serves special needs children.
Dr. Mitchell enjoys travel as her passion, which has included medical missions in Honduras. And aside from visiting Will and Los Angeles her favorite location insurer.
